Naomi Petershiem owns and operates Petersheim's Pretzels & Treats. She lives in Christiana, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Other than the hand rolled, fresh baked, Lancaster County style soft pretzels, Naomi and her friends offer a variety of stuffed pretzel logs including Hot Dog & Cheese, Pepperoni Pizza, Cheese Steak, plus more. For a yummy breakfast item, they offer Bacon, Egg & Cheese and Steak & Egg stuffed pretzels till 12:00 noon.
Not only will you enjoy their wonderful pretzels, but you will have to try their deliciously, thick , rich milk shakes, huge banana splits, and incredible sundaes all made with Hershey's hand dipped ice cream. You wouldn't believe the size of the single dip ice cream cone!! An item of interest concerning Milton Hershey, founder of Hershey Chocolates and Hershey Ice cream, at the age of 7, Mr. Hershey moved to the Southern Lancaster County Township of Bart, about 2 miles from Naomi's residence. In his book Mr. Hershey stated that the move occurred during the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg and related hearing a “dull thunder”. He attended local schools in the area, some of which are still standing.
