Lee and Liz Fisher, along with their children, own and operate this fabulous stand. They reside in Leola, Lancaster County, PA. The heavenly aroma of fresh baked breads, donuts, pies and pastries permeate the air early in the morning inside and outside the market premises on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Fishers Pastries has a long family history of bakers going back fifty years. Liz’ grandmother took baked goods to market to supplement their income on the family farm. She baked shoofly pies, fruit pies and sticky buns which the Fisher are still baking today, using the same time honored recipes as Liz’ grandmother.
We always enjoy trying new recipes as well as sticking with the old tried and true ones handed down through the generations. Going to market has always been great fun, as we are making new friends each day. We hope to be serving you here in Easton for a long time to come and appreciate your business and support.
